Anthony (Tony) Camalier Abell, 67 of Bryantown, MD, died on August 2, 2011 at his residence. Born on July 29, 1944 in Fresno, CA, Tony was the son of Norma Abell and the late Colonel Benjamin C. Abell, Jr.

He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Bryantown in 1962 and attended Charles County Community College after which he served in the Air National Guard for 3 years. Formerly he worked as a teller at the old Waldorf Bank and the Safeway grocery store in Waldorf. He moved to Los Angeles where he for about 12 years working for several banks programming their main frame computers. He returned to Bryantown in 1980 where he made a living as an Antique Dealer.

He was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin C. Abell, III.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by siblings, Jeffrey D. King of CA and Marie T. Abell of MN.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 12 noon at St. Mary's Catholic church, Bryantown, MD.
