Betty Ann Durrer, 68, of Waldorf, MD, died April 22, 2011, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. Durrer was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed babysitting kids she called "her own" and was known as Grandma or Miss Betty by all. She loved to cook, crochet, read, NASCAR, Redskins, family parties and cookouts.

Daughter of the late Allen Rush Lindamood and the living Florence Elizabeth Whitmer Lindamood.

Predeceased by her husband, Ralph Ferguson Durrer.

Survived by her mother, Florence Lindamood; son, John T. Durrer of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Audrey L. And her husband Donald Langley of Waldorf, MD; brother, Allen Rush Lindamood, Jr. Of Waldorf, MD; sisters, Eunice Lanahan of Stevensville, MD; Doris Covey of Rockville, MD; Margaret Dodson of Forestville, MD. Also survived by three grandchildren, Casey, Courtney and William "Billy"; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Rachel and Daniel "D" and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2011, from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM with a Fire Department Auxiliary Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be Josh Robertson, Andrew Robertson, Tom Kenney, William Tall, Thomas Reshetar, Michael Turner, Jeff Duer and Paul Purcell.
