Norval Edgar "Skippy" Pagenhardt, 85, of Scotland, MD, formerly of Oxon Hill, MD died February 24, 2007 in Bayside Nursing Home. Born April 25, 1921 in Westernport, MD he was the son of the late Edgar Smith and Lyda Belle Duckworth Pagenhardt. He is survived by his wife Dorothy C. Pagenhardt, who he married on September 29, 1951 in Catonsville, MD. He is also survived his children Robert F. Fowler, of Fairfax, VA, David E. Pagenhardt of Tarpon Springs, FL, Alan L. Pagenhardt of Drayden, MD and Charles A. Pagenhardt of Scotland, MD; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ralph Pagenhardt, Waltrude Pagenhardt, Victoria Pagenhardt and Lyda Pagenhardt. Mr. Pagenhardt moved to St. Mary's county in 1972 from Oxon Hill, MD. He worked as a radio engineer for the Central Intelligence Agency in Ft. Washington, MD and retired after 28 years of service. His hobbies were: radio dxing, gardening, hiking, snorkeling, and swimming.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM in First Friendship United Methodist Church, Ridge, MD, with Rev. Keith Schukraft officiating. Interment will be Private. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A. |
