Inez was a Self-Employed Housekeeper for more than 10 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. She was educated in Charles County Public Schools. She loved playing cards, dancing, singing and traveling to casinos. She most enjoyed being with her family and friends and always had a smile on her face.

She was daughter of the late William Herbert Cooper and the late Lottie Meredith Cooper.

She was predeceased by her parents; nine late brothers; and four late sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Cooper of La Plata, MD and Monroe Cooper of Newburg, MD; two brothers, Theodore Cooper of La Plata, MD and Vic Johnson of Waldorf, MD; one sister, Doris Hemsley of La Plata, MD; two sisters-in-law, Ethel and Thelma Cooper; and a host of nieces and nephews. Inez also raised two girls, Darneice Braswell and Keisha Douglas.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 8:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, Pomfret, MD. Father John Reutemann will officiate.
