Louise Mae Dalrymple, 76, of Prince Frederick, MD, went to be with her Lord on March 20, 2011 at George Washington University Hospital.

She was born on September 9, 1934 in Howard County, MD to the late Daniel C. Shifflett and Annie Edith Morris Shifflett.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Lee, Everett, and James Shifflett, and her sister, Virginia Halterman.

She is survived by her husband, William B. Dalrymple of Prince Frederick, MD; six sons, William B. Dalrymple, Jr., Gary E. Dalrymple, Joseph P. Dalrymple, Roger K. Dalrymple, Dennis a. Dalrymple and David A. Dalrymple; her brother, Robert Shifflett; sisters Lorena McKnew, Mary Halterman, and betty Lou Morris; 23 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Louise was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. As a devout Christian and member of the Full Gospel assembly of God Church in Prince Frederick, MD, she dedicated 25 years of her life to being a Sunday school teacher. She cherished spending time with her family, was an avid reader, enjoyed Gospel music, attending church and going to yard sales. Her immeasurable love for her family and passion for life are admired by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

The family received friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD, on Thursday March 24, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services were held on Friday March 25, 2011, 10 A.M. at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, 890 Main Street, Prince Frederick, MD. Interment followed in Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, MD. Pallbearers were Gary, Joe, Roger, Dennis, David, and James Wm. Dalrymple.
