James Frank Largen, Sr., 75, of Lothian, MD, formerly of Mechanicsville and Brandywine, MD died March 11, 2011 at his son's residence. Born July 27, 1935 in Orange, Virginia, he was the son of Dewey Wade Largen and Edith Lock Worrill Largen.
Frank worked as a timber cutter for Goad Lumber Company in Hughesville, MD. He loved to fish and hunt when he was younger. He liked shooting pool, country music, westerns and the movie, "Superman" or any movie with Clint Eastwood. Besides his parents, Mr. Largen was predeceased by his sons, James Frank Largen, Jr. and Michael Anthony Largen; brothers, Ted Largen, Shelton Largen, Donald Largen and Ed Largen; sisters, Margie Largen and Mary Largen. He is survived by his wife, Anna May Williams Largen; son, Ronnie Lee Largen, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Ann Largen; daughter-in-law, Alice Largen; brother, Harry Largen; sisters, Frieda Howe and Marie Howe; grandchildren, Tabitha Wathen, Michael Wathen, Sr., Ronnie Largen, Sabrina Largen, Jeremy Largen and Jennifer Reed-Largen; greatgrandchildren, Michael, Tony, Mia, Trinity and Mitchell. The family will receive friends for Frank's Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 11:00a.m. until time of service at 1:00p.m. Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
