Anne Virginia Terrell, 94, of Mechanicsville, MD formerly of Edgewater, MD, died March 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital.
"Wildcat Grammy", as she was affectionately known by her great-grandchildren, was born February 23, 1917 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Percy Weisinger and Gay Estelle Hancock Weisiger. Anne was employed with Highs Dairy store, the government during World War II, and her final job was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, the slots and playing the numbers. She loved seafood and an occasional VO and Coke, made the best fried chicken, potato salad and spoon bread. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother. Anne was predeceased by her parents and siblings Carlyle Weisiger, Jack Weisiger, Jimmy Weisiger and Margie Woolard. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Frank N. Terrell; sons, Raymond N. Terrell (Cheryl) and Lynwood T. Terrell (Mary); grandchildren, Ray Terrell (Betsy), Christina Woodall (Jamie), Steven Terrell and Shelly Holmes (Steven); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Troy and Ryan Terrell, Mason and Logan Woodall, Aja, Alec and Seth Holmes and favorite lapdog Sassy. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 10:00 until time of service at 11:30a.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Interment will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at 1:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
