Mr. Beeson was a Retired Master Sgt. with the United States Air Force, having served 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Friendly, MD and the VFW Post in Morningside, MD. He loved working on cars, doing mechanical work and being outside. He was always doing for others, enjoyed watching his old westerns on the TV, most of all he enjoyed being with his family and grandkids.

Son of the late William Eugene Beeson and the late Effie Christine Thieler Beeson.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Katherine Ann Beeson; one son, Eugene George (Misty) Beeson, Jr., of Ft. Washington, MD; one daughter, Melinda R. (Thomas) Townsend of La Plata, MD; two sisters, Mary Heamstead and Delores Draper, both of Oakland, MD; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Autumn, and Tommy; two nephews, Alan Draper and Larry Thompson; one niece, Christine O'Mera.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 10AM until service time at 12 Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: United States Air Force Honor Guard.
