Ellwood A. "Woodie" Lewis, Jr., age 58, of Huntingtown, MD died suddenly at home on February 9, 2011. He was born August 1, 1952 in Washington, DC to Ellwood A. and Barbara G. (Ofenstein) Lewis.

Woodie was raised in Prince George's County attended Bladensburg High School and graduated from Calvert High School class of 1970. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1973 and served with the 101st Airborne until being discharged as a Sergeant in 1982.

On August 18, 1990 he was married to Susan Montfort at Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Woodie was employed at automobile dealerships in Southern Maryland for many years. He was a finance manager at the former Prince Frederick Motors, Winegardner Pontiac, GMC and most recently as a salesman at Prince Frederick Ford. He attended All Saints Episcopal Church and was a member of American Legion Post # 85 in Huntingtown. Woodie, a life long Green Bay Packers fan, was happy to see the trophy return to Green Bay after this years Super Bowl Game.

Surviving are his wife Susan M. Lewis of Huntingtown, MD; two sons Richard Lewis and his wife Jeanette of Chambersburg, PA and Michael Lewis and his wife Christel of Greencastle, PA; two daughters Jennifer Morgan and Annemarie Lewis both of Huntingtown, MD a sister Patricia Lewis of Huntingtown, MD and a brother Michael Lewis and his wife Dee of Hughesville, MD.
