Mrs. Heise was a homemaker and a life-time resident of Charles County, MD. She was a life-long member of Indian Head Baptist Church and a former School Teacher at Indian Head Elementary School and Gale-Bailey Elementary School. In her earlier years she worked for C&P Telephone Company in Washington, DC and La Plata, MD. She loved gardening, antiquing, and most of all, her home.

Daughter of the late William Edgar Brown and the late Effie M. Scrimger Brown.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband of 50 years, Richard E. Heise, Jr.; and three sisters, Lillian Burnell, Elsie Altieri, and Mildred Drinkard.

Survived by one son, Richard Edward (Margaret) Heise, III of Indian Head, MD; one daughter, Kay Ellen (Jerry) Volman of Port Tobacco, MD. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646).

Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10 AM at Indian Head Baptist Church (27 Raymond Avenue, Indian Head, MD 20640).

Rev. Jeff Dyer will officiate.

Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
