Kenneth James Davis, 64 of La Plata, MD. died on January 8, 2011. He was born on January 29, 1946 in Washington, DC. He is predeceased by his step father Willard Davis and his mother Marion Davis. He is also predeceased by his half brother Dean Davis.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Grafton, children Eric Davis, Kyle Davis, Alison Davis, Michelle Hewitt, and Jennifer Bidwell. Sister; Deborah Underwood, half brothers John Davis and Dale Davis. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tyler, Lauren, and Kyle.

Kenneth worked for the Federal Government in the U.S. Mint retiring after 46 years in December of 2010. He was also in the U.S. Army and served in vietnam. He was an avid Redskins fan and also an avid fan of the Maryland Terps. He loved cooking for people, entertaining, golf, and helping his children in sports acting as there coach. He is also an active member of the First Baptist Church of St. Charles.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 14th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the First Baptist Church of St. Charles 136 Stoddert Ave. Waldorf, Md. 20602 were funeral service's will be held on Saturday January 15th at 10am. The interment will be held on January 20, 2011 10am at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Md.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of St. Charles or the American Cancer Society.
