James C. Rison, 71, of La Plata, MD passed away on December 25, 2010 at his residence. Born on March 31, 1939 to the late Mr. Carroll P. Rison and the late Mrs. Elizabeth R. Rison.

He is survived by his daughter; Karen Wash. Brother; Jerry Rison, and grandchildren; Brandon, Lindsay, and Justin Wash.

A life celebration will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata, MD from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Trigg officiating. Interment will be on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Christ Church-Old Durham Parish in Ironsides, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
