Jerald Lamarr "Jay" Edger, 66 of Colton's Point, MD died December 20, 2010 at the Hospice House of St. Mary's.

Born December 23, 1943 in Columbus, OH he was the son of Bettie Rose (Crider) Edger and the late William Edward Edger.

Jay enjoyed fishing, boating and car racing. He always had an interest in all types of automobiles. Jay had many occupations including plumbing and carpet installing. He was known to be able to fix most everything.

Jay is survived by his mother, Bettie Rose Edger of Colton's Point, MD, his siblings Billy Edger (Gale) of Abell, MD, Jack Edger (Rose Mary) of Davidsonville, MD, Randy Edger (Mary Lynn) of Glenndale, MD, Jeff Edger of Huntingtown, MD, Jill Shertzer (Chris) of Huntingtown, MD and Judy Felkamp (Bob) of Drayden, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
