Theodore Alfred "Head" Bivins, 36, of La Plata, MD, died December 11, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Bivins was a Construction Worker and Truck Driver for Earnshaw Brothers, Inc. and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Issue, MD. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, shooting pool and racing cars. He most enjoyed being with his friends and family.

Born February 7, 1974, in Washington, DC, he was the son of Theodore Alfred Briscoe and the late Eva Elizabeth Bivins.

Predeceased by his mother.

Survived by his father, Theodore Alfred Briscoe of Prince Goegre's County, MD; sons, Dayvon Brooks of Waldorf, MD; Terrell Bivins of La Plata, MD; Lionnie Adams of Waldorf, MD; and Jabriel Bivins of Bryans Road, MD; daughters, Aaliyah Yates of Bryans Road, MD; Lexus Brooks of Waldorf, MD; and Ta'Nina Bivins of Bryans Road, MD; brother, Patrick Dorsey of Newburg, MD; and sister, Takema Butler of La Plata, MD.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 16, 2010, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 15848 Rock Point Road, Issue, MD 20664.

Father Greg Coan will officiate.

Interment will be at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Cemetery, Issue, MD.
