Roger Norman Kimble, Sr., 63, of Mechanicsville, MD, died December 10, 2010, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mr. Kimble was a mill worker for 44 years with Chopp and Company, Waldorf, MD. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Blackwater Hunt Club in Brandywine. He loved hunting, fishing, wood working and being at home with his family.

Born June 5, 1947, in Clinton, MD, he was the son of the late Ira James Kimble and the late Carice May Dean Kimble.

Predeceased by his parents; brothers, James D. Kimble and Derwood "Sonny" Kimble; sister, Betty Joan Kimble.

Survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Marie Quade Kimble; son, Roger N. Kimble, Jr. And his wife Katrina; sister, Charlotte Ann Burwell and her husband Clifford of NC; granddaughter, Kaitlin May Kimble.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, from 5PM to 8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 11:30AM, at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Clifford Burwell will officiate.

Interment will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

Pallbearers will be John Daniel, David S., Johnny Quade, Mike Thompson, Bobby Buckler and Phillip Ellis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Kimble and Ray Paiz.
