Richard Isaac "Joby" White, 39, passed away suddenly at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, PA on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Born on July 14, 1971 in Cheverly, Maryland to Richard LeRoy "RL" White and Cynthia White. Joby , as he was more affectionately known graduated from McDonough High School in 1990 and was pursuing a BS Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest College at the time of his death.

Joby was a die-hard NFL Dallas Cowboys and NBA LA Lakers fan. He spent most of his days socializing about what his teams were doing stat wise and future career goal plans. He had a natural rapport with people and loved to play jokes and pranks on his nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard LeRoy "RL" White, maternal grandparents, Edward & Francis Jemison and paternal grandmother, Nancy Richardson.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Anthony Isaac White, stepfather and mother, Robert & Cynthia Sondheimer, sisters, Carmen Hodnett, Ebonei Barnes, Joani Robertson and Britney Jamison, nieces, Latoyia Hodnett, Stephanie & Elizabeth Adams and Andrea' Savoy, nephews, Raynier & Elijah Hodnett, aunts, Linda Christian, Carolyn Jacks Proctor and Kevin Kemp, uncle, Ronald Jemison, brothers- in-law, Ralph Hodnett and Andre Barnes, best friends, Henry Baldwin and Ed Meadows and a host of family and friends.

Viewing, Friday, December 3, 2010 from 6-9 pm at Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640 and on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 9 am until time of Service, 10 am. Interment, Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
