Mrs. Sutherland was an Information Resource Specialist with the U.S. Department of Energy for 22 years.

She was the daughter of Philip Marcian Taylor and the late Genevieve Marie Booth Taylor

She was predeceased by her mother.

She is survived by her father, Philip Taylor of Lothian, MD; husband, Eddie J. Sutherland; one son, John P. Sutherland of Waldorf, MD; one daughter, Katherine M. Sutherland of Waldorf, MD; five brothers, Philip (Joy) Taylor, Charles Taylor, Michael Taylor, Mark (Heather) Taylor, and James (Maureen) Taylor; and four sisters, Marie Walker, Jeanette (Ralph) Moreland, Irene (Jeff) Herbert, and Susan (Dennis) Fetsko.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11am at Grace Brethren Church, 13000 Zekiah Drive, Waldorf, MD 20602

Clergy will be the Rev. Jeff Thornley

Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
