Rose Ella Marshall, 95, of Pomfret, MD, died November 24, 2010, at her residence with Hospice.

Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker, a devoted catholic and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret. She was a member of the Catholic Golden Age Club and the Charles County Branch of the NAACP. She enjoyed ceramics, cooking for family and friends, bingo and Chinese food.

Born April 15, 1915, in Waldorf, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Albert Yates and the late Ethel Marhsall Yates.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Henry A. Marshall; son, Henry C. Marshall.

Survived by her son, James E. Simmons, Sr. and his wife Kathryn of White Plains, MD; daughter, Doris M. Terry of Pomfret, MD.

Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2010, from 11AM to 12Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4589 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, MD 20675.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 3, 2010, at 12Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Fr. Mark Smith will officiate.

Interment will take place at the Church cemetery.
