Martha L. McLellan, 91, of Solomons, MD, formerly of Suitland, MD passed away November 19, 2010 at Asbury Nursing Center, Solomons, MD. Born November 3, 1919 in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of the late Thaddeus S. and Emma Rittenhouse Hess.

Mrs. McLellan is survived by her Nephew and Nieces; Thaddeus Hess of Newburg, MD, Gail Soukup of Laurel, MD, and Joyce McCabe of Henderson, NV.

Mrs. McLellan was preceded in death by her siblings; Thaddeus S. Hess, Jr., Harold R. Hess and Jean H. Barth. Mrs. McLellan graduated from Anacostia High School in 1938.

She moved from Prince Georges County to St. Mary's County in 2001.
