Debora Lyn Banagan, 50, of Upper Marlboro, MD died February 5, 2007 in Southern Maryland Hospital. Born September 14, 1956 in Avenue, MD she was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Vivian Banagan. She is survived by her brothers: Tony and his wife Gina of Ellendale, DE and Jay of Lusby, MD. Ms. Banagan worked as a human resources specialist for the Department of Transportation for 32 years. She loved to read, listen to music, play poker with friends and she was an avid St. Louis Ram fan. She also enjoyed going to watch the Washington Capital and Baltimore Orioles play.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Fr. Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood, MD. Pallbearers will be: Tony Banagan, Jay Banagan, Jeff Banagan, Kevin Banagan, Nicholas Soldo and Rick Vietel.
