Phyllis Marie Adams, 62, of Waldorf, MD, died October 25, 2010, at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, MD.

Phyllis was a medical transcriptionist for over 40 years with Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. She enjoyed being with family and grandchildren. She loved shopping, being with friends and going to parties. She was very social, enjoyed her girls group and was well loved by everyone that knew her.

Born September 2, 1948, in Clearspring, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harold Trumpower and the late Mildred Marie Hamner Trumpower.

Predeceased by her parents; sister, Delores Johnson.

Survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Adams; son, Brian L. Adams and his wife Toni of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Shelly M. Dunn and her husband, Richard of Waldorf, MD; three grandchildren, Nicklas, Carlie, Kaitlyn.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Lynn Bowie will officiate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD, on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 11:30 a.m.

Pallbearers will be John Dries, William Adams, Richard Pickeral, James Quade, Mike Kilinski, and Louis Ream.
