Clifford "Cliff" Vincent Retzlaff, age 22, of Waldorf, MD died September 25, 2010 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton, MD as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born June 4, 1988 in Clinton, MD, he was the son of Scott Gerard Retzlaff and Donna Thompson Retzlaff.
Cliff was a Collision Technician with the American Service Center in Alexandria, Virginia. He graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 2006. He previously worked at the Wagon Works Collision Center and Lindsey Cadillac Collision both of Virginia. Cliff loved having fun with family and friends, working out at the gym, going to the beach, his Firebird Trans Am and most of all, his beloved dog, Zoey. He was also very excited about the home he had just purchased last October. Cliff was predeceased by his grandparents, J.L. Thompson and Patsy Hardesty Thompson. Besides his parents, Cliff is survived by his sister, Shelby Harrington and her husband, Richard; grandparents, Retired Col. Donald and Lorraine Retzlaff and Jaqueline Thompson; aunts and uncles, Jay and Tina Thompson, Steve and Amy Retzlaff, Greg Thompson, Kelly Retzlaff and Janny Retzlaff; niece and nephew, Kaelyn and Christopher Harrington and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for "Cliff's" Life Celebration on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 4 - 8 p.m at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Prayers will be held at 7:30p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPlata, MD. Interment will take place at St. Catherine's Church, McConchie. Pallbearers will be Devin Retzlaff, Bobby Ayers, Johnnie Goudie, Ryan Adams, Kevin Fleck, Darrin Ching, Robert Sora, Brenden Retzlaff and Jarrett Thompson.
