Ralph Theodore Miller of Mechanicsville, Maryland died on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. He was 88 years old.
Born on January 1, 1919 in Arlington, Virginia, he was the son of the late Mary Amelia and Theodore George Miller. He served in the U. S. Army during the World War II until he was Honorably Discharged in 1945. While in the service he received the Purple Heart, the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the American Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Following the war, he was a master plumber and residential building contractor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his daughter Lorraine Marie Miller. He is survived by his wife Thelma America Miller; daughters Mary Catherine Miller Vieth of Mechanicsville, MD and Thelma Rose Weinelt of Brandywine, MD; son Ralph A. Miller of San Diego, CA; grandsons Eric and Kevin Weinelt; great grandson Nicholas Weinelt. Services and interment will be private. |
