Lowell Carter Counts, 70 of Mechanicsville, MD died on February 11, 2007 at his residence.

Born on October 16, 1936 in Logan, WV, he was the son of the late William and Dixie Counts. Mr. Counts was a bus driver for Trailways Bus Company; he also worked for the Gold and Gray Line Bus company. He was a member of the American Legion, Chapmanville, WV. He enjoyed taking apart motors and repairing them.

Mr. Counts was preceded in death by his wife Lynn Georgina Counts. He is survived by a daughter Michelle Guyton of Mechanicsville, MD, two sons; Lowell D. Counts of West Virginia and William Counts of Virginia, 4 grandchildren; Whitney Shifflett, Ashley, Alex and Austin Counts and one Aunt Dorothy Counts, also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD with a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Interment Friday, February 16, 2007 11:00 a.m. at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
