Thomas Elmer Whalen, 69, of Washington D.C., died Feb. 11, 2007, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C.
Mr. Whalen was a truck driver for Post Sales. He liked Jazz, Airplanes, News, and Radio. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Born Oct. 11, 1937, in Wicomico, he was the Son of the late William Henry Whalen and the late Alice Whalen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome Whalen and William "Sharpie" Whalen. He is survived by his brothers, Francis Whalen and Irvin Whalen; sisters, Delores Washington, Mary Whalen, Alice Smoot, Irene Whalen and Shirley (Avery); sister-in-law, Elise Whalen; brothers-in-law, Bernard Washington, and James Smoot; nieces and nephews, Kevin Washington, Allandra Washington, Staff Sgt. Spencer Taylor, John Whalen, Frarji Whalen, Jerial Washington and Jeanel Smoot; and other relatives. |
