Sherri Lynn Hamilton, 50, of White Plains, MD, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Georgetown Hospital Washington, DC.

Sherri was a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 27 years serving as Doctor Alam's Office Nurse and at Bradford Oaks Nursing Center in Clinton, MD. She was a 1977 graduate of Thomas Stone High School. Always known for being a caregiver and taking care of her dogs, Poppa, Lucille and Chuck. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, reading to her grandchildren and enjoyed watching Court TV.

Born December 14, 1959, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late William Eldridge and the late Dorothy Bryant Eldridge.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, James P. Hamilton; sister, Gayle Marie Crowder; brother, Ronald G. Hamilton.

Survived by son, Geoffrey W. Hamilton of Waldorf, MD; daughters Kelle M. Hamilton of FL; Melissa A. and her husband Robert Roland of Waldorf, MD; Sarah E. Hamilton of White Plains, MD; brother, Charles Dennis Hamilton Sr. of La Plata, MD; grandchildren, Mariah, Logan, Raegan, Charlotte and Hank.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 5PM to 8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Reverend Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will be private.
