Joseph Edward Marshall, 71, of Waldorf, MD, died August 16, 2010, at Genesis Waldorf Center, Waldorf, MD.

Mr. Marshall served in the U.S. Army and was a tank operator for 30 years with Blue Plains Treatment Plant, WSSC. He enjoyed reading, eating crabs, watching TV and being to himself.

Born March 24, 1939, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Jack Marshall and the late Agnes Pennifill Marshall.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his caretaker, Allen Lindamood of Waldorf, MD.

Funeral Service will be private.
