Cheryl Lynn "Sherry" Hall, 47, of Bel Alton, MD, died August 1, 2010, at her residence with Hospice.

Mrs. Hall worked in the grocery business for over 20 years, 14 of which was with the La Plata Safeway. She was a coach for La Plata Blue Knights for eight years and had a love for kids. She volunteered for Hospice and Relay for Life. She died after a six year battle with Renel Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer).

Born February 18, 1963, in La Plata, MD, she was the daughter of John Steven Rollins, Jr. and Margaret Strobel Rollins of Waldorf, MD.

Survived by her parents; husband of 26 years, Gary Michael Hall of Bel Alton, MD; daughters, Jalyn Danielle Hall and Kirstin Tyler Hall of Bel Alton, MD; brothers, Mark Rollins and his wife Kelley of Nanjemoy, MD; John Glen Rollins of Waldorf, MD; Joseph Rollins and his wife Dana of La Plata, MD; sisters, Debbie Carroll and her husband Tom of Hughesville, MD; Lisa Swick and her husband Danny of Waldorf, MD; Pam Butler and her husband Shawn of Nanjemoy, MD; grandmother, Mary Strobel of Waldorf, MD; mother-in-law, Gloria Pounds of Sumter, SC; father-in-law, Harold Hall of Elkton, VA; brothers-in-law, Dale Hall of La Plata, MD; Mark Hall of Elkton, VA; 17 nieces and nephews and three great nephews.

Visitation wil be Thursday, August 5, 2010, from 12 noon to 6PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 5, 2010, beginning at 5PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will be private.
