Maurice Alvin Riley Jr. (Bey) was born June 27, 1962 in Washington DC, to Maurice A. Riley Sr. and the late Shirley Ann Dorn.
Maurice received his education from the public schools of the District of Columbia graduating from Wilson High School. Maurice was born "a man" with an old soul. As a child he was fun loving and mastered most things that were around him. He was the father of three and was proud of the achievements of his children. Moe, as he was more affectionately known, enjoyed the company of his family and the time they spent together. The road of life took him many places, and as a result he experienced many of life's lessons. Moe was a "jack of all trades" performing electrical and plumbing jobs. Known for his wit, family and friends enjoyed his light hearted personality and he earned the love and respect from many. On Wednesday July 27, 2010, "Moe" left this life for one eternal. Those left to reflect upon the memories of his life are his children, Matrice Williams, Maurice Wade and Maquay Riley, two grandsons, Milik Wade and Mekhi Bullock, father Maurice Sr.; sister, LaWan Shepherd of North Carolina, three brothers, Trave'l (Nakia) and Gerlril Riley and Daryle (Roxanne) Silver all of Washington DC., three nieces, two nephews, six aunts, four uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
