In March 2007, as her health was declining, she and Norman chose to move to Georgia to be closer to their daughter and her family. Most recently, she lived at Brightmoor Nursing Center and her family is eternally grateful for the excellent care and compassion she received by the dedicated and loving staff. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Norman Herbert Thibeault.
