Brenda G. Durnbaugh, 61, of Broomes Island, Md. passed away on July 17, 2010 at Burnett Calvert Hospice House. Brenda was born February 20, 1949 in Prince Frederick, MD to the late Edward L. Elliot and Annie Parks Elliott.

Besides her father, Brenda is also predeceased by her brother, Anthony Elliott.

Brenda is survived by her husband, William Franklin "Billy" Durnbaugh, of Broomes Island MD , mother of Jeffery McCarty ( Lori) of Broomes Island, MD, Dennis McCarty of Austin Texas, William Durnbaugh, III, ( Theresa) of Columbia, MD and Clinton Durnbaugh of Broomes island, MD. Daughter of Annie Marie Elliott of Broomes Island, MD, sister of Edward, Jr., Dwight, Robert "Bobby", Richard, "Ricky", and Stevie Elliott. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Samantha McCarty, Liam and Sarah Durnbaugh, Jeffrey, Christopher, and Robert Denton, and great grandchild, Thomas Denton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 20, 2010 at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where services will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2010, at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, MD.
