Janet Patricia Nosel, "Gran", 76 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at her home.

She was the wife of the late Daniel D. Nosel, who died in 1987.

Born August 4, 1930, she was the loving mother of Daniel Nosel, Denise and (Kenneth) Hudson and cherished grandmother to, Heather and (Michael) Deabay, Bryan Nosel, Justin Hudson, Hillary and (Justin) Meador, Jonathan and (Jessica) Hudson and Billie Jo Underwood. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Alexis Hudson, Hanna Hudson, Sierra and Samantha Deabay, and her first great grandson, Jacob Hudson (due to arrive May 2, 2007).

Originally from Central City, Pennsylvania, Janet settled in Mechanicsville,in 1984. She worked at Dixon's Clothing Store in McKays Plaza from their opening until 1996. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her entire life, she attended every Grandparents Day at Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School for the past twenty seven years, she was the foundation of her family and a friend to many.

Donations in her memory may be made to Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24th at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall. The family will receive friends from 5-6PM and a Memorial Service will be held at 6PM.
