Mary Helen Ledford, age 62, of Leonardtown, MD., formerly of Port Republic, MD passed away on May 28, 2010 at her home in Leonardtown. Mary was born on March 2, 1948 in Rural Retreat, VA to Walter F and Della E. Hale Crouse.

Mary had many activities that brought her joy, but most of all she loved playing Bingo, watching Science-Fiction movies, playing WII; her favorite game was bowling, and fishing in her younger days.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Walter F. Crouse, and her sister Betty Ann Bowen.

She is survived by her mother Della E. Crouse of Lusby, MD, daughter Helen Sue Miller and her husband Richard of Lusby, MD and her son Allen Lee Ledford, Jr. and his wife Debra of Lusby, MD and her grandchildren Christiana Lynn Crivella of Lusby MD and Jeremy, Adam, CJ of Lusby, MD.

Mrs. Ledford's pallbearers will be Richard C. Miller, Johnny Montgomery, Michael Foley, Brian Freeman, Kyle Bushaw and Frank Ferritta.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday June 2nd from 5-8 p.m. at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A. 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 3rd at 10 a.m. in the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A. Port Republic. Interment will follow in the Waters Memorial Cemetery, St. Leonard.
