Thomas "Tommy" Lawrence Houser, 68 of Hollywood, MD died May 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD. Born November 14, 1941 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Milton Morris Houser and the late Pearl Beatrice Pearson Houser.

Tommy was a painter by trade. He loved the outdoors and liked to go camping. Painting, playing cards, bingo, western movies and the lottery were favorite hobbies.

Besides his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Milton M. Houser, Jr. He is survived by his siblings, Doris Pitner (Billy), Frances Saunders, Ruth Thorne (Bob), Denny Houser (Cindy), Frank Houser (Ruth), Margaret Deal (Owen), Harry Houser and Jimmy Houser; also his beloved pet "Buddy".

The family will receive friends for Tommy's Life Celebration on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 1 - 5 pm at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010
At 11:00 am. The Rev. Thomas A. Gude will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
