Joshua Emil Geisbert, age 26, of Charlotte Hall, MD died May 15, 2010 in Mechanicsville, MD. Born July 30, 1983 in Alexandria, Minnesota, he was the son of Stuart Lee Geisbert, III and Shirley Marie Schulz Geisbert.

Josh worked as a carpenter for SL Geisbert and Sons and also for Hott Waterproofing. Josh was a graduate of LaPlata High School where he played football and belonged to the wrestling team. He also attended Shepard College.

Josh loved the outdoors and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a talented woodworker who made furniture. He enjoyed "old-time" country and blue grass music, playing Pitch and Cribbage. Dear to him were his family, friends and being with people.

Josh is survived by his parents Stuart and Shirley Geisbert, III, grandparents Stuart and Billie Geisbert, Jr., brother and sister-in-law Jesse and Jessica Geisbert, daughter Breeanna Smith, and girlfriend Shauna Shaw. His extended family include his aunts and uncles Sandy and Jack Onderjcak, Stacey and Bobby Wilson, Margaret McDowell and cousins Sam, Allie, Dustin, Cory, Matt and Sarah.

The family will receive friends for Josh's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Service will be held at 7:00p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Minor Savings Account for the benefit of Breeanna R. Smith, daughter of Joshua E. Geisbert, account number 446016200445 through Bank of America, 28250 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
