Brian Egan Dalsey, 47, of Hollywood, MD, died April 3, 2010, in Clinton, MD.
Born August 1, 1962, in Darby, PA, he was the son of Jerry Dalsey of Port St. John, FL and the late Agnes Dalsey both previously of Waldorf. Brian was a Property Manager for Visionary Design Development. He was a devoted father, an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast who loved the Washington Redskins, antiquing, sports memorabilia and was "King Picker of Southern Maryland Bluecrabs". Brian enjoyed life, friends and family and will be remembered for his ability to make each person feel they were special. He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Dalsey. He is survived by his wife, Meg Dalsey; daughters, Danielle Dalsey of Austin, TX; Brianne Dalsey of Bossier City, LA; son, Keegan Dalsey of Hollywood, MD; sisters, Pat Lawton and her husband John of Port Tobacco, MD; Peggy Gaestel and her husband Dave of Milton, DE; Bridget Mayer and her husband Glenn of Milton, DE; Mary Davis of Mechanicsville, MD; Susan Hack and her husband John of Olney, MD; Kathi Donnelly and her husband Shaun of Pomfret, MD; brothers, Jerry Dalsey and his wife Brenda of Waldorf, MD; and Teddy Dalsey and his wife Crystal of Oceanside, CA. Also survived by 18 nieces and nephews as well as an extensive number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Pomfret, MD from 10AM until 11AM on Saturday, April 17. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM. Immediately following the mass will be a reception held in the church reception hall. Father Mark Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be his son, Keegan Dalsey, godson, Gerard Dalsey, brothers, Jerry and Ted Dalsey, friends, Butch Dunn and Chip Dorwart. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, April 19, 2010, at 12 noon.
