Catherine Denise Wojcik, 59 of Charlotte Hall, MD died on April 9, 2010 at her residence.

Born on April 6, 1951 in Camp Springs, MD, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Madeleine Goust Mulligan. She attended Lorraine High School. Catherine was a Food Service worker for St. Mary's County Public Schools and worked at White Marsh Elementary School in Mechanicsville. Her enjoyments were collecting antiques figurines, loved animals, dancing, and listening to disco music.

Survived by her husband of 30 years whom she married on December 6, 1980, Thomas R. Wojcik, mother-in-law, Florence Wojcik, brother-in-laws, John, Jr., and Carl Wojcik, nieces, Michelle, Shannon, Francine, nephews, John and Danielle, her cats, Marble and Alex, dogs, Princess and Buddy, and many other strays she so lovingly took in.

Family will receive friends to Celebrate Catherine's Life on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. with prayers being recited at 7 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Mechanicsville, MD with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
