Charles "Greg" Foster, 51, of Hughesville, MD, died March 22, 2010, at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.

Greg was a conveyor supervisor with Elevator Control Services for 26 years. He played softball in many Southern Maryland Softball Leagues and was a former manager of Little League. He enjoyed playing golf and was very active in sports. He was known as a very kind and giving person and would give the shirt off his back, wonderful father and grandfather.

Born December 31, 1958, in Woodbury, NJ, he was the son of Maurice Eugene Foster and Willa Mae Rabe Foster.

Survived by his parents, Maurice and Willa Foster; his wife of 14 years, Susan Ann Bowlas Foster; son, David M. and his wife Caitlin Oxenham of Waldorf, MD; daughters, Amber Dawn and her husband Troy Parlett of King George, VA, and Kimberly Ann and her husband Pete James of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Gene and his wife Julia Foster, II of St. Leonard, MD; Michael and his wife Sharon Foster of Edgewater, MD; Glenn and his wife Bobbie Foster of Marbury, MD; sisters, Kitty Pat and her husband Leo Cummins of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Gwen and her husband Michael Fitzgerald of Amherst, VA. Also survived by grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, Angela, and Alyssa.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 25, 2010, from 5-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Friday, March 26, 2010, at 11 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzgerald will offciate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will be Gene Foster, II, Gene Foster, III, David Oxenham, Mike Foster, Glenn Foster, Robert Jackson, and Jonathan Oxenham.
