Barbara S. Stoltzfus, 97, of Mechanicsville, MD died on March 3, 2010 at her residence. Born July 5, 1912 in Bird in Hand, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Sallie Stoltzfus.

She was the loving wife of the late Samuel R. Stoltzfus who preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by her sons; Joseph S., husband of Edith Esh, Amos R., husband of Mary Stoltzfus and the late Rueben, husband of Ada Byler and her daughters; Sarah, wife of Andrew Hertzler, Annie, wife of Levi I. Swarey Sr. and Katie, wife of Ben S. Swarey as well as 66 grandchildren, over 500 great-grandchildren and over 40 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at her residence on Millwood Lane in Mechanicsville, MD. A Funeral Service will be held the next day, on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 12:00 PM, also at her residence. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Hertzler Cemetery, Mechanicsville, MD.
