Alberta Higgs Moye, 94 of Annapolis, MD, formerly of Waldorf, MD died on February 16, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Born on December 9, 1915 at Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marian Foley Rothery. Ms. Moye was an Ad Solicitor for Evening Star Newspaper.

She was the beloved wife of the late William Albert Higgs, Sr. and Horace Bruce Moye and loving mother of the late William Albert Higgs, Jr.

Survived by her children, Judith Smith, Carol Hamilton, Linda Bowers, Roberta Keen, James. and Thomas. Higgs, sister, Helen Griffin, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
