Mrs. Davies was a photographer with the Naval Oceanographic Office in Suitland, MD for 20 years. She was a member of the Surratts Senior Club, St. John's Lunch Bunch, NARFE P.G. Chapter 1260, VFW Post #9619 in Morningside, MD. She sold war bonds during World War II, a supporter of the animal welfare organizations, and a recipient of the Beautification Award in P.G. County for her yard. She was a member of the Round Dance & Square Dance Club and an avid gardener.

Daughter of the late Joseph Hanratty and the late Alphonsene Quave Hanratty.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband, Eugene Henry Davies.

Survived by one daughter, Deborah E. Farrell of La Plata, MD; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Thomas Farrell, III; one great grandchild, Kyle Farrell.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 4, 2010, from 11-1 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646).

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 1 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson

Interment will be private.
