Vincent A. "Vince" Boswell of Waldorf, MD, died on Monday, January 25, 2010, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He was 62 years old.

Born on February 26, 1947, in Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, Mr. Boswell, as known lovingly by his family as "Poppy", was the son of the late Phyllis and Joseph Boswell. He was owner and operator of Superb Coffee and Snacks and was very involved in his business until recently when he retired. An avid Corvette enthusiast, he was a member of the Corvette Owners Association, having owned a variety of Corvettes, most currently a 1964 and 2008 models. He loved bowling and played on a league at the St. Charles Bowling Alley. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, dancing and spending time with his dog named J-Lo.

He is survived by his fiancé, Carol Grimmett; sons, Andrew and his wife Simi Okuboye; Brian and his wife Amy Boswell; Craig and his wife Juliett Boswell; siblings, Joann Lewis, Marie Theis and Joseph Boswell; grandchildren, Grant Boswell, Carter Boswell, Conner Boswell, Aiden Boswell, Jordan Licari Boswell and DaNaylee Long.

Visitation on Friday, January 29, 2010, from 6PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10AM on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery Bryantown, MD, with Father Conley officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
