Shirley Ann Binger Turner, 65, of Mechanicsville, MD died January 17, 2010 at the Hospice House of St. Mary's County, Maryland after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Shirley was born December 5, 1944 in Cheverly, MD to the late Harold LaRue Binger and Mary Melvina Binger Farrell. She was married to the late Harold R. Turner, Jr. on January 17, 1964 in Brandywine, MD and travelled by his side until retirement from the United States Navy in 1980 to live in Golden Beach, MD.

Shirley was retired from the Prince Frederick, MD K-Mart where she was the Cafe
Manager. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, MD and loved serving the Lord.

She is survived by her children; Robert, Beverly (Danny) and Brian (Mary); brothers, Ernie Binger and his wife, Anna; Charlie Binger, Joe Farrell and Willie Farrell and wife, Gail; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer (Jason), Danielle, Richard, Kelsi, Kassidy and Brian, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Austin and McKenzi and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends for Shirley's Life Celebration on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 10-12 noon at the Victory Baptist Church, 29855 Elorado Farm Lane, Mechanicsville, MD, followed by a funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
