Toni Lee Smith, 50, of Hughesville, MD died December 9, 2009 at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Born September 26, 1959 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Jack Lewis Shoap and Barbara Ann Weaver Shoap.

Toni lived in the area for the past 12 years and was employed as a Payroll Processor for the Prince George's County Board of Education. She loved the music of the 60's and 70's and especially the BeeGees.

She enjoyed being at home with her husband, Jeff, whom she married on December 31, 2007 and spending time with her beloved "Seven", a black lab who recently died.

Toni was predeceased by her father, Jack Lewis Shoap.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; mother, Barbara Weaver Shoap; mother-in law, Frances Smith; sisters, Jackie Reece and Sherri Andrade; nephews; Tommy Reece and Bronson Andrade and great-nephew, Brodie Reece.

The family will receive friends for Toni's Life Celebration on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 3-5p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A service conducted by the Rev. James Chance will be held at 5:00p.m. Interment will be private.
