Susan Tolle O'Neill, age 65, died November 27, 2009 at her residence in Chesapeake Beach, MD. She was born January 20, 1944 in Baltimore, MD to Walter and Audrey Jones Tolle. She was raised in Baltimore County, and graduated from Milford Mill High School, class of 1962.

She lived in Baltimore County until moving to Calvert County in 1978. Susan was a homemaker, and enjoyed collectables and antiques, attending flea markets, gardening and flowers, vacations at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, living near the Chesapeake Bay, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by daughters Kelly P. Griffith of St. Leonard, MD, Kathleen O. "Kathy" Steinheimer and her husband Bob of Monrovia, MD; a son Kevin M. O'Neill with whom she lived in Chesapeake Beach; grandchildren Chad, Tara and Madison Griffith, Christopher, Matthew, Ben and Mackenzie Steinheimer, and Kari, O'Neill. She is also survived by a sister, Stephanie G. Gentry and her husband Ron Gentry of Fayetteville, PA.

Friends and family were received Tuesday December 1, 2009 from 6-7 PM at Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD, where a service and celebration of Susan's life followed at 7:00 PM. Interment is private.
