Margaret Irene Pate, 87, of Port Tobacco, MD, died November 11, 2009.

Mrs. Pate had retired after over 35 years of service at St. John's Catholic Church Rectory, Clinton, MD, and a life-long resident of Southern Maryland. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Born February 12, 1922, in Accokeek, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Robert Coomes and the late Etta Irene Hart Coomes Rennoe.

Predeceased by her parents; step-father, Andrew "Buck" Ennoe; husband, Robert H. Pate; son, Robert Carl Pate; brother, Raymond Coomes; sisters, Rhonda Logan and Lillian Paddie.

Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009, from 10AM until time of service at 11AM, at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD.

Fr. Crowley will officiate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
