Robert Carleton Burns, of Lusby, MD formerly of Temple Hills, MD, died November 14, 2009 at his residence.

He was married to Jean M.. Burns.

He leaves three children Robert C. Burns, Jr., Karen Keysar and Steven T. Burns, Sr.. Grandfather of Julie M. and Steven Burns, Jr..

He was preceded in death by his sister Mary K. Burns.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, P. A., 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD on Wednesday, November 18, from 2-4 & 6 – 7:30 PM with Funeral Services to follow at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10 AM in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made in his memory to Calvert Hospice, P. O. Box 838, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
