Lessie Spivey Winslow, 86, of La Plata, MD. died December 22, 2006 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital Center.

She was born on October 26, 1920 in Elizabeth City, N.C. to the late Lloyd Jackson and Fannie Spivey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Glenn Winslow and brother; Sprugeon Spivey.

She is survived by her daughters; Dianne Sue Munden, and Kathy Page Young, Sister; Iris Whittey, and brothers; Lloyd Spivey and Edward Spivey. Grandchildren; Jeremiah Munden, Jessie Munden, David Munden, Jonathan Munden, Candice McIlvane, Amy McIlvane, Stacey Cramer-McIlvane, and Bryan McIlvane. Great Grandchildren; Joshua and Julianne Cramer.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 27, 2006 at the Holloman-Brown Funeral Home in Norfolk, VA. from 9-11 am until time of service at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday December 28, 2006.
