Mrs. Bell was a real estate sales lady in Queens, NY for many years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Queens, NY. She was a hat maker and a seamstress. In her later years, she worked in a nursing home in NY. She was very devoted to working with her church, known as a people-person, always helping others.

Daughter of the late John and Adeline Peters.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Namon Lee Bell; one son, Clarence Hill, two late daughters, Annette Bell and Inez Shelton; one late grand child, Marvin Cross.

Survived by one daughter, Willie Gerold of Waldorf, MD. She is also survived by many grand children, great grandchildren, and great great granchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
