Charles William "Chuck" Hoyle Jr., of Brandywine, MD, died on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 54 years old.
Born on November 9, 1954, in La Plata, MD, he was the son of Grace D. Bowling Hoyle and Charles W. "C.W." Hoyle, Sr. of Mechanicsville, MD. Chuck attended and graduated from La Plata High School, Class of '72. He worked as a mechanic for Mandley Excavating Company, servicing and maintaining the heavy equipment. The most important thing in his life was his wife Dawn, his children Matt and Casey and his wonderful parents Grace and C.W. which was evident everyday. The second love of his life would have to be his 1982 Corvette. He also enjoyed his music, playing his guitar and singing. He once sang at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. His favorite pastime was decorating the home, both inside and out, during the holidays. Chuck loved camping, going to the beach, four-wheeling, and also had a great love for animals, especially cats and dogs that may be in need of aid or a home. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party at gatherings. Chuck's main element in his life was his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Chuck is survived by his wife, Dawn M. Hoyle; son, Matthew L. Hoyle; daughter, Casey L. Hoyle, all of Brandywine, MD; and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation on Thursday, October 22, 2009, from 2PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 23, 2009, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Laurel Grove, 21708 Mt. Zion Church Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659 beginning at 11AM with the Reverend Ann Strickler officiating. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers are Alan Bowling, Steve Bowling, Gary Nimmerrichter, Donald Nimmerrichter, Lewis Mandley Jr., and Lloyd Kauffman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryce Austin and Allen King.
